It seems that around this time of the year, Louisiana comes out of the winter and celebrates spring with a series of festivals that generations of families have enjoyed. One in particular that I try to attend every year is the Crawfish Festival in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. Nestled between Lafayette and Baton Rouge, Breaux Bridge swells with people from all over the state to experience the taste of crawfish cooked every way possible.
One of the beautiful things about this festival is that there is something there for everyone, including art from local artists and businesses, carnival rides and ohhhh, so much of that glorious cajun music. Being embedded in southeast Louisiana, some good cajun music will definitely get the crowd on their feet. . Check out a few of my photos from the festival this year:
