Fashion Designer: On Aura Tout Vu

     Livia Stoianova and Yassen Samouilov make up this duo of Bulgarian-born internationally-praised designers, On Aura Tout Vu. Yassen graduated with studies geared toward textiles and fine arts school of Versailles, while Livia completed at the fine arts school of Paris.

With their education, teamwork and love for the art, they’ve fascinated the world with some of the most captivating designs of this era. Take a look:

Fashion Designer: Elie Saab

Now, let’s start the week off with some amazingly expensive luxury designs. Enter Elie Saab. When I hear the name of this designer, I automatically think luxury, gowns, and premium quality fabrics. Still can’t distinctly remember a Elie Saab gown? Here’s one for you that you may remember:

This Lebanese-born fashion designer has been around for over 30 years, providing the fashion world with elegant gowns of embroidery and Swarovski crystals. Saab has also provided designs that are available in Neiman Marcus as well. I’ll show you one that can be purchased in your Neiman Marcus store.

 

This brings on a new sense of the phrase ‘pay the price’.  Here are some of the elegant designs Elie Saab has given us over the years. Enjoy!

    Lan Yu is an internationally recognized fashion designer based in Beijing, China, known for her elaborate designs and wedding gowns.  With a store in New York City, Yu’s iconic peices are available to the public, including a ready-to-wear collection. Miss Universe not only graced the red carpet looking breath-taking, but also appeared in a Stella Artois glass custom-made gown made by Marchesa. Marchesa and Water.Org teamed up for the “Buy A Lady A Drink” campaign, promoting clean drinking water in underpriveledged places around the world. Way to go Olivia!!!!

Singer/actress Janelle Monae stunned the red carpet wearing a Elie Saab Haute evening gown. Monae’s gown was initially featured during Elie Saab’s Fall/Winter 2016 Haute Couture Collection. Sequins, specifically-placed beading, crystals and beautiful chic accessories accentuated the Janelle Monae’s exquisite look.
